Online Banking

Start your enrollment process by enrolling in Online Banking. Simply complete the Enrollment Form. You will receive a response within 48 hours.

By enrolling in Online Banking, you will automatically be enrolled for the Bill Pay service, unless you check the box to “opt-out” of Bill Pay. There is no charge for Online Banking or Bill Pay. Here are just some benefits of Online Banking:

  • View the checks and deposits posted to your account
  • Transfer funds among your accounts
  • Make your First National Bank loan payments online
  • Look at check images
  • View account history

Online Banking is a secure and convenient way for you to stay connected to your finances!

For security reasons, the recommended browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari.

Free Bill Pay

  • Payments may be scheduled by specifying the amount and date of the payment
  • It’s easy to add, delete or modify the payee list
  • Checking the status of payments is simple
  • Users can review payments that have been made over a specific time period
  • Payment history can be tracked alphabetically, or by date or amount
  • Avoid late fees and postage
  • Save time

With First National Bank bill payment service, you can pay bills with the click of a button. If you’re not sure if paying bills online is right for you, we invite you to call or visit any FNB representative to assist you in completing the registration process.

Online Statements

To register for online statements, simply log into Internet Banking and follow these steps to register:

    • From the “Actions” button for the appropriate account, click on the View Statement option
    • On the next screen choose the “click here” button to move to the next screen
    • Review and Accept the “Electronic Delivery of Documents” disclosure
    • Verify the email address that is displayed and click on “Sign Up” 

You will be notified via email each month when your statement is available.  To view your statement:

    • Log into Internet Banking
    • From the “Actions” button for the appropriate account, click on the View Statement option
    • On the next screen choose the “click here” button to move to the next screen
    • Click on the date of the statement that you want to view
    • Open the statement file to view or print a copy

Statements will be available in Internet Banking for 3 months (90 days) and will automatically be removed after that time.

Download the new app using these three easy steps:

1. Visit the app store on your iPhone or iPad, or Google Play on your Android device, and search for “First National Bank in Staunton.”

2. Download the First National Bank in Staunton app to your device.

3. Use the app by logging in with the same Access ID and Passcode you use for FNB Online Banking.

In order to log into the new Mobile App, you must be an Online Banking user. If you are not currently an Online Banking user, scroll up to the top of the page and click on "Enroll" underneath the Online Banking login boxes. You may also sign up for Online Banking by clicking on “Not Enrolled in Online Banking? Click Here” on the log in screen of the Mobile App.

If you have the old version of our app on your device, please delete it before you download the new one.

Mobile Check Deposit

Deposit checks everywhere with the Mobile Check Deposit feature on our Mobile App. Before you start, make sure to place your check on a dark background and make sure there is good lighting for the picture. Then tap the “Deposit Check” button to get started.

From there, follow the instructions in order to deposit the check using your mobile device. Please remember to endorse the check with “For Mobile Deposit Only” and your signature.

Other things to keep in mind when you are depositing a check:

  • There is a daily deposit of $2,000.00, unless otherwise authorized by First National Bank.
  • Deposits made before 4:00 p.m. CST will typically be available on the next business day.
  • Items deposited will not be available for viewing in Online Banking until daily processing completes.
  • Processing days for Mobile Check Deposit are Monday – Friday, with the exception of Federal holidays.
  • Non-consumer customers will receive three deposits per statement cycle at no charge. Additional deposits will incur a $0.50 fee.

Text Banking

We are constantly looking for ways to make banking even better for you. Now we are making it easier for you to bank on the go no matter where you are with text banking. Text Banking is FREE* and allows you to access your accounts directly from your cell phone so you can experience even more convenience.

Here are the instructions to enroll in Text Banking:

1. Log into Online Banking. You must be enrolled in Online Banking in order to enroll in Text Banking.

2. Click on "User Services".

3. Under "Manage Account", click on "Mobile Enrollment".

4. Select your mobile carrier, phone number, agree to the terms and conditions, and then click on "Enroll".

5) You will be given a six-digit activation code on the next web page. Upon receipt of the activation code, a text message will arrive to your mobile device prompting you to reply with the six-digit activation code. After you respond to the text with the code, you will receive a confirmation text letting you know that you are now enrolled in Text Banking.

  • C or CMD (list of available Text Banking commands)

  • STOP (Deactivate all First National Bank in Staunton text services)

* The LOGIN command is only for users who use the mBanking mobile web browser and want to recover the URL address and/or their Access ID. This can become necessary when the cookies and/or cache are accidentally cleared from the mobile browser.

Alerts

  • Set up alerts from any computer by accessing our online site.
  • Receive alerts via SMS Text Message or email.
  • Alerts can be used to notify you of your account balance or a variety of other options.
